With her latest film Barfi! making it to the Oscars, Priyanka Chopra has reportedly asked for a whopping Rs 1 crore to walk the ramp at a fashion show in Delhi.

"Priyanka is the brand ambassador of the event and it was a natural decision to approach her to be the showstopper. However, she spun a surprise on us by asking for a fee of Rs 1 crore! The amount was just too high for the designer at the show, " sources were quoted as saying to Mid Day tabloid.

Pertinently, Bollywood celebrities generally charge around Rs 30 lakh to be the showstopper.

Anurag Basu directed, Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka starrer movie 'Barfi!' has bagged the nomination of India as the official entry in the Oscars "Best Foreign Language Film" category.

Priyanka played an autistic girl in the film.
