The India TV famous sting operation expose against Bollywood's villain Shakti Kapoor, seems to have worked in his favour.

The actor's popularity is in upswing with the likes of Mahesh Bhatt, Sunil Darshan, David Dhawan, Mahindra Dhariwal and Karan Razdan, offering him roles in their movies.

Even Kapoor admits that the scandal has worked in his favour and that filmmakers of repute are offering him roles.

Mahesh Bhatt has even formally announced that he would be casting Kapoor in his next film, which would be directed by Mohit Suri. The buzz is that even an International film channel would be making a documentary on the tainted actor titled Uncrowned King of Bollywood.
