Mithun Charkaborty's son Mimoh, aka Mahakshay, will be launched by director duo Abbas-Mustan, and not Vikram Bhatt. Industry sources reveal that the Bengal tiger was disappointed with Bhatt after the failure of Elaan. He was against Bhatt launching his son; he obviously wanted Mimoh's career to be in safe hands.

This is why the disco king requested Abbas-Mustan to make a film for his son. The duo reveals, "In fact, we had first offered to direct Mimoh's debut movie. We later learnt that someone else was to launch him in a Venus film." They tell you that the details remain to be finalised. "We have to first meet up with Mithun."

They aren't sure as to who will produce this film. It could even be Venus since they'd signed on Mahakshay (Mimoh) first.

Abbas is all praise for Mimoh. "He's a brilliant actor with the potential to become a huge star."
