The actor wants to concentrate on his directorial venture

For Shekhar Suman, his directorial venture has gained top priority. So much so that the actor has opted out of the big screen adaptation of the famous TV show Dekh Bhai Dekh. The actor will soon leave for Dubai where he will be shooting for his film, along with his son Adhyanan Suman and Deepti Naval.

The actor states, `I am starting my film on November 1 and I have no time for anything else. My friend Anand Mahendru had spoken to me about the film version of Dekh Bhai Dekh. He also wants to make another show based on it.

However, I won't say that I have opted out of it as I am completely preoccupied and at the moment I cannot be a part of anything else.`

Suman however adds that he will be available for Mahendru's project if the producer decides to start his film after the actor wraps up his. `I will be back in Mumbai by December 7, which incidentally is also my birthday. Only after that can I start something else.`
