"Last I did was 'Double Dhamaal'. Couldn't shoot more films for three years because of personal and business reasons. I'm more than happy to make a restart," tweeted the actor.
"I'm hearing films and TV out. TV always gave me immense love. If I get better stuff on TV, I won't hesitate. Both satisfy, and both are loved. Although I promise, I'll definitely finalise something in a few days to come because I miss the camera. Acting is my passion. Won't be long," he added.
If grapevine is to be believed, Ashish will be seen in a TV daily soap with Shilpa Shirodkar. But he clarifies, "haven't signed anything".
"Yes, I'm hearing stuff because I'm ready to shoot 2013 on, as desk work is allowing me to," tweeted Ashish.
The actor is not alien to the small screen. He was earlier seen in a show titled "Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye".
