"It has always been like this after 'PAGE 3'. The has been a steady stream of callers wanting to know about my next film has never stopped. For some reason, all of them seem to have mixed reports about the subject of my next film," Madhur smiles.
As if that was not enough, he was inundated with endless calls after a leading national daily published an April fool joke, speculating the subject of his next film, titled, 'PAGE 1'.
"Of course, it got me thinking for a while of course but just in case anyone has got ideas that I am planning anything similar, I have no such subject with a political undercurrent in mind," he reveals.
About his next film, CORPORATE, Madhur informs that it is about the "rumblings, doings and undoings of the corporate world".
Madhur does not want to comment on the budget and cast of the film yet but the bosses at Sahara One are said to have given him full freedom and how he wants to pursue the subject. Currently the bosses at Sahara seem to be all out to support the director who is on their top priority list.
So where does that leave his other project, EXTRA, that he was planning once upon a time?
"I have decided to keep it on hold for the time being because the subject is not confirming to my expectations," he reveals.
It may be recalled that EXTRA was one of Madhur's favorite subjects at one point of time. The film was supposed to be a black comedy revolving around the tale of a mistress and a married man.
