Actor is keen on taking part in competitive rally car events in the country

None of the roles he has portrayed so far in any of the films had anything to do with speed but in real life, Kunal Kapoor is a totally different guy. The lean actor has a thing for high velocity. In fact, he is a trained pilot too and flies as a hobby. And as of now, he's also training for the national rally championship and pretty keen on participating in competitive events.

Actively practicing at an academy on the outskirts of Mumbai under the guidance of a former national rally champion, seems like it won't be long before we see the actor participating in the competitive rally events in the country.

A well-placed source says, `His trainer for almost a year now feels that Kunal has what it takes to participate in national championship. He's good enough.`

Kunal says that he prefers balancing his profession with his non-reel passion. `It's really important for me to have hobbies. My passion lies in racing cars and flying planes. The adrenaline rush I feel when I sit in a race car can't even be described in words. I'm keen on taking this a step higher and I'm working towards it, ` he sums up.
