Soon after the funeral processions of Shiv-Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray was over, Social networking sites were flooded with Rumors of legendary actor Shashi Kapoor falling ill and weak and getting Hospitalized. Even I personally received a Message on my BlackBerry Messenger about this incident.

This news was floated from a Facebook Page of the actor where he requested for prayers about his ill-health. I tried my level best to contact Sanjana Kapoor (Daughter of Shashi Kapoor), But got no reply. I also tried my level best to speak with the Prithvi Theatre management which is owned by the actor himself, But the management too did not seemed interested in replying back.

Finally i called up actor Aditya Raj Kapoor to confirm this news and he was kind enough to inform me about the Facebook Page of the actor which is a 'Fake' page.

Aditya further added "I have just spoken to his son. Shashiji is fine. He does not have any Facebook page. It is a fan page spreading rumors. Facebook should shut it down."
