Atul Kulkarni has denied that he has decided to train his eyes down south due to the lack of substantial roles in Hindi films.

"I have done around six to seven films in the south, but I haven't really signed up anything in the recent past. I don't think I need to look to the south for better assignments when I have one of the most coveted roles anyone could ever want in `Rang De Basanti'," the actor said in Jaipur.

Kulkarni was reacting to reports that a lack of well-defined roles in Hindi films had prompted him to look south for better roles.

Meanwhile, congratulations for his award-winning performance in Marathi film "Devrai" haven't stopped pouring in. The film continues to do steady business.
