"We all are really happy that the franchise of 'Masti' is taken ahead with 'Grand Masti'. Obviously it's going to be bigger, better and badder. The film is yet to complete and we all are having fun shooting for it," said Aftab.
"This film has nothing to do with original 'Masti'. It's the same set up with a different story," he added.
Directed by Indra Kumar, "Masti" featured Vivek, Riteish and Aftab as three friends who decide to cheat on their wives, played by Amrita Rao, Genelia D'Souza and Tara Sharma respectively.
But for "Grand Masti" Maryam Zakaria, Kainaat Arora, Bruna Abdullah and Sonalee Kulkarni will join them in the cast. Ajay Devgn will also feature in it.
"The film demanded fresh faces. There is more fun, more masti and more gags," Aftab added.
"Grand Masti" is slated for 2013 release.
