Riding high on success, the gorgeous actress is all geared up to play the desi version of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001). The role was immortalized on screen by none other than Angelina Jolie and is one of the most recalled roles of her career.

Apart from her acting skills and her screen presence, the uncanny resemblance of Esha Gupta to Angelina Jolie helped her bag this role. This grand project will be an International co-production (Indo-American) and as of now only one film from the series will be made.
