Even Urmila Matondkar might be pleasantly surprised. But it was her co-star Anuj Sawhney who in a way chose her to act opposite him in the suspense thriller "Naina".

Earlier, iDream Productions had finalized a relative newcomer. But they decided to reconsider their decision and sign a star instead, since they were spending a fortune on production values and sound effects in the film, reports Bollywood Trade.

Anuj was asked his choice for the role and he selected Urmila.

"I always found her to be very attractive, sexy and appealing," he smiles.

"When they told me they had confirmed a star opposite me, I kept guessing every possible name, from Kareena Kapoor to Rani Mukherjee. I was absolutely thrilled when I learnt that it was indeed Urmila who had been confirmed."

Of course, he had to first seek the "Rangeela" star's approval, meeting her and doing a photo-session, before she said her yes.
