For Neeraj Pandey's thriller, Akki plays a fake CBI officer and had to be in the '80s get-up. He apparently commissioned the film's team to get a vintage briefcase made to keep in tune with that era.
Our source says, `A briefcase is an important tool for any officer. It was a very big task for the team, as such briefcases are not manufactured any more. They were specially designed for the shooting and the marketing of the film.
