"We were toying with few names. Soha, because she is a royalty in reality, looks the part completely, without doing too much acting, without us making her wear clothes that she is not comfortable wearing, with kind of jewellery, " Tigmanshu told in an interview.
"What Soha has done does not look fake, it looks effortless... that was one reason for choosing her, " he added.
A sequel to his 2011-hit "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster", it also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill and Irrfan. The film hits theatres March 8.
Critically acclaimed Dhulia's "Haasil" and "Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster" boasted elements of a typical Hindi film complete with a hero, a villain, romance and action.
Dhulia does not believe in experimenting with films and said: "There is no harm in experimenting with films, after all it is a work of art. But a film is not like writing a poetry and doing what you want because a certain amount of money is involved, people's reputation is at stake.
"So it is a very complicated form of art where you want to express yourself but keeping in mind the logistics of money, " he added.
