The actor feels his appearance helped him bag the role of a father in 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti'

Ram Kapoor plays a father in YashRaj Films' Mere Dad Ki Maruti. And the actor feels it is his looks that helped him get the role.

The actor says, `There are not many men of my size in the industry. If I would have had six-pack abs I may not have been considered for the role.`

While most actors in Bollywood leave no stone unturned to have a chiselled look, Ram is glad that he is getting good roles based on his appearance.

He adds, `Appearance does matter. If I fit into a particular character because of my appearance then why not go for it?`
