Believe it or not, despite Aman Verma's infamous Ruchi episode, Sony Entertainment has asked the anchor turned actor to host its Indian Idol II. The return of Mini Mathur is also on the cards, who accompanied Verma on the last Indian Idol session.

Verma's joy knows no bounds as he gushes, "The last few months have been a testing time for me, but I think I have evolved as a stronger person. I am back where I belong. Television has always been my first love but I am also keen on doing films with strong characters."

Apart from small screen, Aman also has some pretty good offers from Bollywood. He has signed Dharmesh Darshan's Dosti, where he is playing Kareena's husband and 'Kacchi Sadak', which throws light on the illicit liquor trade in rural Rajasthan.
