Bollywood actress Jiah Khan turned 25 years on Wednesday and the "Nishabd" girl reports said she will cook her the big day treat for family herself.

The actress planned to spend the special day with her family and friends. She also planned to cook the birthday treat herself.

"Bday time tmrw...excited! Mum and I will cook a meal for family and friends! #simplecomforts." the excited actress tweeted on Tuesday.

She was born as Nafisa Khan and is the daughter of Indian-American, Ali Rizvi Khan and Rabiya Amin, a yesteryear actress.

After completing her A levels in film studies and literature in London, she debuted in the controversial film 'Nishabd' in 2006 where she acted opposite Amitabh Bachchan.

However, the film was released in March 2007 to mixed reviews, though Khan was noted for her confidence, attitude, and sex appeal on screen. She also bagged a Filmfare Best Debutant nomination for her Acting skills.

Her next notable performance was acting alongside Aamir Khan in A.R. Murugadoss's 'Ghajini'.

Khan also appeared as a supporting actress in the Sajid Khan's 'Housefull' as Devika, a woman who cheats on her husband with the boyfriend she wanted to get married to but could not because her father would not approve of a non-Indian son-in-law.
