Political leader snaps up Abhishek's T-shirt that was auctioned for charity

As part of a charity auction, Abhishek Bachchan's T-shirt has sold for Rs 5 lakh. And the one to get his lucky hands on it is a political leader, who incidentally doesn't want to be named.

Junior B had personally signed the T-shirt for an organisation that works with children suffering from a heart condition.

A source says, `Abhishek not only walked the ramp but also gave his shirt for auction. Initially it got a bid of only Rs 3 lakh. Abhishek stepped in to donate some extra cash for the cause. He wanted to put in another one lakh.`

However, a late bid for Rs 5 lakh finally clinched the deal for a politico. The source adds, `Abhishek was happy with the politician's gesture and immediately closed the bid. He handed over the money to the NGO then and there.`
