"3G", a horror thriller, which has released Friday, is based on the concept of phantom calls and also stars Sonal Chauhan.
"Neil was the most apt for this role. The character gelled well with his personality. Not only was he very cooperative, but he even shot for 16 hours at a stretch without complaint," Rajani said in a statement.
Talking about Neil's character, Rajani said they had hired international artists to make everything perfect.
"The film is about a two-faced character who appears to be a normal guy, who is actually possessed. We had roped in a Los Angeles-based DOP (director of photography) and a Columbia-based lightman, who have captured the horror moments in a way never seen before in Hindi films," he said.
Director duo Sheershak Anand-Shantanu Ray Chibber has directed "3G".
