Saif Ali Khan prefers selling ice cream over acting in mediocre films. The actor, who doesn't have too many films on hand, has been signed on as brand ambassador for Cream Bell ice cream. With this step, Khan jumps on to the bandwagon of actors endorsing desi products.

He took a break from promotions for his forthcoming project Parineeta, to shoot for the ice cream commercial with director Nikhil Advani. Cream Bell was launched by Ravikant Jaipuria in North India; the company hopes Khan's star power will help popularise its product the nation over. Khan has previously endorsed Royal Stag, Pepsi, Ruffle Lays and Asian Paints.
