Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor will pay homage to his father and great actor-director Raj Kapoor in David Dhawan's upcoming film 'Chashme
Baddoor' by recreating the iconic 'Pyar Hua Iqrar Hua' scene from the film Shree 420.
The song with legendary beauty Nargis, which has embedded itself in the minds of Indian audiences everywhere, will have a comic twist in
Dhawan's movie.
It won't be exactly the same as the black and white romantic film, but more of an attempt to capture the 'feeling' which goes with the rain,
umbrella and two people secretly in love.
Rishi Kapoor and Lilette Dubey will be playing Raj Kapoor and Nargis respectively.
'Chashme Baddoor', which is essentially a comedy, has Rishi Kapoor and Lilette Dubey playing significant roles and the actors also have a
romantic track in the film.
This particular sequence between them has been designed to honour the late veteran actor and though it has been shot as per today's day and
age, the set up, milieu and flavour of the shot remain the same.
For all those people out there who can't walk in the rain without humming the bars of 'pyaar hua iqrar hua', this will be a must watch.
'Chashme Baddoor' is a remake of the 1981 film of same name and is set to release on April 5.
The film stars Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Taapsee Pannu, Divyendu Sharma and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles.
Juhi Chawla and Anupam Kher will make a special appearance in the movie.
