Ali Zafar holds special screening of 'Chashme Buddoor' in London soon after being criticised for staying away from his new film's promotions

Ali Zafar recently faced the music when there was buzz in the industry how he was missing in action for the promotional activities of his upcoming film with David Dhawan.

However, we hear that the Pakistani actor-singer organised a special screening of his film in London, where he has been shooting for another project.

A source says, `He has been busy shooting with Yaami Gautam. He has been missing out on all the promotions that's happening back home.

His schedule is tight and he was unable to travel to India to promote the film. He recently called a press conference as well as a small screening of a few sections of the film for the media and his fans in London. May be this was a face-saver on his part.`


Incidentally, there was massive snowfall in UK the day of the screening. `Ali thought it would be very difficult for people to travel to the screening as several roads were blocked. However, many of his fans came and even complimented him for his work.`

Ali says, `It was heartwarming to see the warmth and love of so many people who saw the film.`
