Child actor Virendra Pratap celebrates National Award win

Child actor Virendra Pratap, who bagged the National Award for Best Child actor, has been celebrating in his hometown Jaisalmer in Rajasthan

He bagged the country's top acting honour for Mangesh Hadawale's film which stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tannishtha Chatterjee. Though it is Virendra's first acting outing, he pulled out all the stops for his performance.

The film bagged four national awards -- Best Children's Film, Best Child Actor, Best Actor Jury (Male) and Best Actor Jury (Female).

Producer Mahaveer Jain feels that Virendra is a wonder kid! The film has been doing the festival rounds for a while with Imtiaz Ali and Vivek Oberoi extending their support to it.
