After 30 years, Poonam Dhillon and Randhir Kapoor are all set to return to the big screen together in Prabhu Deva's upcoming film

Says a source, "It is after a long time that both the actors are working together in the film. Both Poonam and Randhir were very excited, as they have worked in films like Biwi O Biwi (1981) and Sawaal (1982) previously."

And apparently producer Kumar Taurani always had Poonam on his mind to play the protagonist's mother.

The source adds, "Kumarji always had Poonam in mind for this role and on hearing the script, she immediately said yes to the project. Randhir plays the hero's father, who has a totally different personality than his strict wife.

There was great on-screen chemistry between the two senior actors, given their previous experience of working together."

Says Taurani, "Randhir has been portrayed as a person with a large heart, just like his real-life self. His chemistry with Poonam was fantastic."
