Popular Bollywood producer Ekta Kapoor on Saturday said her upcoming horror film 'Ek Thi Daayan' is a 'new type' of supernatural movie.

Ekta, along with the leading ladies of her film - Konkona Sen Sharma and Huma Qureshi, visited Kolkata on Saturday.

"It is a new type of supernatural movie. You will see new talents in the movie, " Ekta said.

"The movie has an interesting plot with so many twists and turns. I am quite optimistic about it, " she said.

The trio attended a cake cutting ceremony of lifestyle brand Irony Furniture & Accessories which celebrated its 15th birth anniversary on Saturday.

Directed by Kannan Iyer, 'Ek Thi Daayan' is a horror film featuring Bollywood actors Emraan Hashmi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kalki Koechlin and Huma Qureshi in the leading roles.

The film will hit the silver screen on Apr 19.
