Actress Sridevi wished all her fans a happy and prosperous "Puthandu" and "Pohela Boishakh"

"Wishing each one a very happy Tamil New Year - Puthandu. Many memories of celebrating this day since childhood, " Sridevi tweeted Sunday.

The 49-year-old also went ahead and wished Bengali fans "Pohela Boishakh" and tweeted: "Also wishing all my dear Bengali well -wishers Pohela Boishakh on this auspicious day. Shubho Nabo Barsho!"

Pohela Boishakh is the first day of the Bengali calendar. The traditional greeting for Bengali New Year is "Shubho nobo borsho".
