Orders director Milan Luthria to re-shoot climax of the upcoming gangster film

Ekta Kapoor is known to be a hard taskmaster. And now there is one more instance. The producer has ordered a reshoot of several portions of her upcoming sequel to Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, directed by Milan Luthria. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.

A crew member informs, `After seeing the rushes, Ekta sent a message to Milan that several portions of the film, especially the climax, needed to be reworked. The director argued that it did not gel with his vision.`

The source adds, `Akshay too feels a reshoot is necessary. This has further strengthened Ekta's cause to call the shots and ensure that Milan does a reshoot.`

Incidentally, her last production Ek Thi Daayan was also reshot. Ekta had severe creative differences with co-producer Vishal Bharadwaj over the issue.
