"I am not allowed to speak much about my film. Well, looks like I will be sharing the screen space with Meera, who is debuting (in Bollywood) with 'Gang of Ghosts'," Vijay told.
The actor will join the movie's crew May 6.
"We will be shooting in Surat. So let's see what's in store for us," he added.
"Gang of Ghosts" is the Hindi remake of Bengali blockbuster "Bhooter Bhabishyat". Producer Ratan Jain has bought the rights of the 2012 film, which was a horror-based comic entertainer. The Hindi film is being directed by Satish Kaushik.
Meanwhile, Vijay is happy that his other movie, "Monsoon Shootout", is part of the Midnight Screening section at the forthcoming Cannes International Film Festival, starting May 15.
"It is very overwhelming that the film will be screened at Cannes. I was very hopeful that 'Monsoon Shootout' has an international appeal. It is very gratifying," he said.
