Jackie Shroff was a part of the celebrations of 100 years of Indian cinema in Bradford, England

There was a special showing of his 1983 film Hero at the event. The actor was also given a tour of the Museum of Film after which the Bradford mayor welcomed him to the Town Hall for a civic reception.

A special dinner was also arranged in his honour where he was presented with an award for excellence in Indian cinema.
