Dharmedra and Sunny-Bobby have done it. So have Vinod Khanna and Akshaye. Now buzz is that Pankaj Kapur and Shahid are all set to appear in a film together.

While Kapur has already worked with Shahid before, directing his son in Mausam, this will be the first time the two will share screen space.

Insiders say that Rajkumar Santoshi, who is currently directing Shahid in another project, will be helming the father-son duo film. With it, Santoshi will be reviving his long-cherished dream of making a film on Asghar Wajahat's play Jis Lahore Nahin Dekhya Woh Jamiya Nahin.

Incidentally, sources say that the director had wanted to initially cast Sanjay Dutt in the lead role, when he first thought of making this film five years ago.

Our source says, `Santoshi has always wanted to make this film. He had even planned to make a huge set of Lahore city at Hyderabad's Ramoji Rao studios but the film got stuck for some reason that time. He has now apparently spoken to both Shahid and Pankaj for the film.`
