Actor Saurabbh Roy is ready to slip into a mythological character. He will play Draupadi's father, Draupad, in the upcoming show `Mahabharata`. He is overjoyed with the opportunity.

`Unlike my character in daily soaps like 'Amita Ka Amit', the role of Draupad demands a lot more physical fitness and elegance, ` Saurabbh said in a statement.

He was earlier a part of the show `Khatron Ke Khiladi Torchar` with actress Smita Bansal, and was also seen on `Amita Ka Amit` as Amita's dream boy.

"Mahabharata" will air on Star Plus soon.
