His film 'Ship of Theseus' may be garnering attention with Kiran Rao as presenter but director Anand Gandhi has more reasons to be happy

The philosophy department of the Mumbai University has presented an honorary award for his outstanding excellence in philosophy. Meanwhile the film which has been doing the festival rounds including the recent Sydney fest has bagged several honours at such events too.

It was awarded the Best Film award at the Transilvania International Film Festival in Romania. While Pankaj Kumar won the Best Cinematography prize for the film.
