While the lead pair of Zee TV's hit serial 'Qubool Hai' - Karan Singh Grover (Asad) and Surbhi Jyoti (Zoya) - might have gone their separate ways in the show, this Thursday sees them reunite once again as romance blossoms between the pair in a dream sequence on the Mahasangam of 'Qubool Hai', 'Connected Hum Tum' and 'Punarvivaah'.

After weeks of having to give each other the cold shoulder and enacting scenes of separation, the actors welcomed a change in tempo with open arms.

`This romantic act was such a welcome change. After our characters have had to go through such turbulent ups and downs onscreen, with each scene ending in tears of angst, this performance could not have come at a better time.

I happen to love the song 'Teri meri prem kahani'. It gives me goose bumps and is on my playlist of romantic songs which I listen to almost every two days," said Surbhi about shooting for the sequence.

"I know that viewers are going to draw parallels to Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor when they see this song but I think Karan and I have done justice to the track. Given the situation that our characters are in at the moment, this song is perfect!` she said.

This special dream sequence is a part of the Mahasangam episode.

Making a special appearance in this episode of 'Qubool Hai', 'Connected Hum Tum' and 'Punarvivaah', is actor Imran Khan who plays the character of Aslam in 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbai 2'.

The actor has shot for a dance number to the famous song 'Taiyab Ali' with Surbhi.
