Vinta Nanda has her hands full these days. Besides making a grand success of her daily soap "Milee", which continues to get record TRPs, and giving the final touches to the script of a film based on Mahesh Bhatt's life, Vinta is also producing a documentary called "Gender Bender" for British Broadcasting Corporation.

"It is about the changing face of the contemporary Indian woman who is exploring professions that were hitherto strictly in the male domain," she says.

The film is being directed by Vinta's assistant Poojita Chaudhary for Project Smita, which backs media projects of social relevance and documents the lives of women in unconventional jobs.

"The film documents the life of those women who have broken from stereotype roles and are leading the way for opportunities beyond gender," Poojita reveals.
