Prateik Babbar's upcoming film 'Issaq' is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's classic Romeo and Juliet but the actor says the movie does not have a tragic ending like the original story

26-year-old Prateik said the film, which is set in the backdrop of Banaras, is not a heart-rending story and the lovers don't die in it.

"We do not die, " Prateik, who stars opposite debutante Amyra Dastur told reporters here yesterday. Dastur, who has been part of many TV commercials, said she had always dreamt of being a heroine.

"I played in theaters of school and colleges, also in a TV commercial. . . Director Manish Tiwary made the characters more interesting, " she said.

The actress plays the role of Bachchi in the movie. For promotions of the film, the makers will be distributing 'Issaq Jodi Paan' in selected theatres in Mumbai.
