After recent biopics being based on sportspersons (Milkha Singh, Mary Kom), we hear that a film is being made on the late wrestler-turned-actor Dara Singh

The film will initially be launched in Punjabi followed by its Bollywood version.

Dara Singh became a household name after he portrayed the affable character of Hanuman in Ramanand Sagar's television show Ramayan. Wrestler Sangram Singh has been roped in to play the late veteran actor.

According to sources, he has already started prepping for the role that requires him to put on around eight to 10 kgs. Says Sangram, `Yes, I have been approached for the role and we are trying to work it out.`
