There has been quite a buzz about Steve Jobs' upcoming biopic with Ashton Kutcher in the titular role. While it's well known that Steve was adopted by Paul Jobs and his family when he was a kid, the co-founder of a gadget brand was apparently in search of a father figure till his last day on earth.
According to sources, director Joshua Michael Stern and writer Matt Whiteley met up with a lot of Jobs' co-workers and family to find lesser-known facts about the visionary. While exclusively speaking to HitList, Kutcher says, `There is a history behind every legend. Behind his calm and uber-creative facade, Jobs was always in search of a father figure.`
And that's what the actor says drove Jobs to seek creative partners in engineering genius Steve Wozniak, investor Mike Markkula and marketing virtuoso John Sculley. `We spend our lives looking for partners, ` adds Kutcher.
