The video of Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh's new song "Proper patola" has received over one million views online on Youtube in just a fortnight. He is glad to live up to the expectations of his fans.

The song, in which Diljit teams ups with rapper Badshah, was uploaded on YouTube Aug 8 and so far it has got 1, 094, 211 and still counting.

The lyrics of the song, which talks about a girl, has a urban and classy touch, which can grow on listeners easily.

I'm glad to live up to the expectations of all, and with their faith in me, 'Proper patola' has become a hit, " Diljit, who was seen as the protagonist in Punjabi movie "Jatt & Juliet" and its sequel, said in statement.

Badshah has penned and composed the song, which has been distributed by Sony Music. The video was shot in Los Angeles.
