The film marks the senior Kohli's return to filmmaking after a span of 20 years and casts Purab in the lead role. Purab, better known as a Channel V VJ, also doubles as the production controller for the film.
Minutes later, Purab seems more relaxed when his daddy cans the first shot of the film with his characteristic confidence and flamboyant style reminiscent of his earlier filmmaking days.
"Kaun Ho Sakta Hai" is a thrilling murder mystery laced with moments of comedy that keeps the viewer guessing. The film will be Purab's fifth release after "Bas Yun Hi", "Supari", "Vaastu", "Shastra" and "My Brother Nikhil".
What he finds exciting is the way his father has managed to keep the identity of the murderer intact despite having shot with all the 14 artistes in the film.
"A few days ago, one of the actresses featuring in the movie called me up to find out whether I had any idea about who the killer was, and I couldn't help laughing. Dad wanted the identity of the killer to remain a secret from the very beginning and, apart from the cameraman, the murderer and myself no one is aware who the killer is!" he breaks out laughing.
Purab is now looking forward to the D-day of the film's release when he can feel proud of his father's achievements.
