'Pawn Stars' to visit India

The cast of US reality TV series "Pawn Stars" is visiting India at the end of August as part of their first ever Asia tour.

Since the launch of History TV18 in India in 2011, the show has garnered positive reviews and huge fan following. Now they are visiting India to meet their fans, said a press statement.

The show chronicles the daily activities of the celebrated Pawn Stars - patriarch Richard "Old Man" Harrison and his family, including his son Rick, grandson Corey "Big Hoss". Also, Corey's childhood friend, Austin "Chumlee" Russell.

It revolves around the three generations of the Harrison family, who jointly run the family business, their clashing and camaraderie.

With the narration being provided by the Harrisons and occasionally Chumlee, the series depicts the staff's interactions with customers. It also follows the interpersonal conflicts among the cast.
