The 70-year-old has so far hosted five seasons of the show, except for the third edition, which saw superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the quizmaster's seat.
"It's time for large butterflies as expressed on the Twitter early this morning, to appear in the intestines and the stomach muscles, for, KBC recordings start tomorrow (Tuesday)," Big B posted on his blog Monday.
The show, based on international quiz show "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", started in year 2000. Big B credits the success of the show to the audience.
"Thirteen years on, and we still survive, thanks mainly to the affection and patronage of all you that love and wish us unselfishly," he wrote.
This year "Kaun Banega Crorepati" will promote the importance of learning and has the tagline which says "Seekhna bandh toh jeetna bandh (No learning means no winning)"
