While most aspiring actors would gladly give an arm and a leg to star in a cameo in a Priyanka Chopra starrer, for director Apoorva Lakhia it was no big deal

After all, he is wielding the megaphone for the film that also stars Ram Charan. The director confesses to us it was actually his passion for cricket that drove him to dabble a bit in acting.

It apparently has become a rule now for Bollywood folk who want to try their hand at the annual celebrity cricket league. Only actors, who have starred in not less than three films, are allowed entry into the elite club.

To fit into the shoes, Apoorva designed a special cameo for himself. Says the director, `I am not an actor. I am a director and I want to make films. The only reason I am doing this cameo is so that I can complete the three-film deal.`

Remember him?
Apoorva also starred in cameos in the Sanjay Dutt starrer Knock Out and Mira Nair's The Parez Family.
