While Priyanka Chopra's gun-toting suggestiveness in the music video for Zanjeer with Ramcharan Teja won't be seen in the film, and would be used only for promotional purposes, we now hear that director Apoorva Lakhia has gone and shot a much raunchier number with a hot London-based model Jasmine May.

According to an insider the item song entitled 'Zanjeer' leaves nothing to the imagination.

Says the insider, `Jasmine was totally Apoorva Lakhia's idea. He saw her picture somewhere and wouldn't rest easy until he got hold of her.`


Lakhia apparently hunted her down through a modelling agency and convinced her to do the item song for Zanjeer .

The song has been specially composed for Ms May by Shamir Tandon.

On Tuesday Jasmine would perform live in Hyderabad at the music release function of Toofan, the Telugu version of Zanjeer.

Whispers a core member of the Zanjeer crew, `The original plan was to get Ramcharan and PC to shake a leg on stage. But Apu decided to set the stage on fire with Jasmine.`


When contacted Lakhia raved non-stop about his prized find. `Jasmine is going to take the film industry by storm. She is really really hot. And she moves like a dream to the beats.`

Hmmmm. Reminds me of a certain Mr Ramgopal Varma talking about a certain Nathalia Kaur during the making of Department.
