Controversies have always been an intrinsic part of Mallika Sherawat's life. The sex siren seems to be infusing it in her upcoming television show the desi version of the American show The Bachelorette as well

According to the channel's claim, Aman Varma approached them to be part of the show as he considers the actress 'meri khayalon ki mallika'.

The actor was keen to be among the participants wooing Mallika in the reality drama from whom she will handpick one as her soulmate.


Says a channel source, `Aman stated that he was keen to be on the show. But he was turned down as he is a known face. Aman's dream of wooing Mallika had to be quashed.` However sources close to Aman have a different story. They maintain, `It was the channel that approached Aman. He is part of a crime-based show for the same channel. The channel wanted him to initially go as a contestant but later be Mallika's friend on the show.`

The source adds, `They wanted to introduce him through a bungee jumping sequence for which he will be shown as developing cold feet. Aman felt this was going against his image that he was scared of bungee jumping as he played a tough cop in his show. Moreover he could not provide the 15 days of dates as they were clashing with his other commitments.`

The channel also claims that Rahul Bhatt approached them to be part of the show as his father Mahesh Bhatt is close to Mallika. But things did not work out for Rahul. Phew.
