`After the show rolled, Asif did tell me he wasn't sure about joining it and thus preferred to wait,` admits Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar who used his powers of persuasion on Asif a week ago.
In fact, Asif had flown off to Goa when the show began. `I called him up as soon as he landed in Mumbai and repeatedly told him, he shouldn't miss the opportunity, as it would help take his career to the next level. After persuading and coaxing him for almost two-and-a-half hours, he said he would seriously reconsider,` Dale informs.
Asif did keep his word. After two days, he informed Dale he would be entering the Bigg Boss House. `Asif isn't well-versed with the nitty-gritties of the show. I guided him as much as time permitted.`
A few weeks ago, Dale had also briefed his earlier PR client Anita Advani when she called him up to reveal about an offer from Bigg Boss. Moreover, the publicist had himself received an offer to be a contestant for BB7, but he chose to skip it.
So why did he chose not to be on the show himself? `I'd be a misfit for Bigg Boss. Contrary to popular belief, I am an introvert in real life. A typical Libran who needs the scales to be balanced to keep the calm and harmony intact,` reveals the PR expert.
