Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had a rather bizarre experience in Mumbai last weekend.

When King Khan turned up at a city multiplex for a special screening of Paheli, he was mobbed by a group of security guards. Ironically the television channel that had organised the show had hired these men to protect the filmstar from the crowds.

Although he was later also mobbed by the 'janata', it was the security personnel who were the first to go berserk when Shah Rukh showed up on the scene.

It was certainly the kind of protection the hapless actor could have done without!
