Priyanka Chopra pledges Rs 50 Lac to help build a cancer ward in a suburban hospital in the memory of her late father

Just a few months ago, Priyanka Chopra's father, Dr Ashok Chopra lost his battle with cancer. In memory of her father, Priyanka has donated Rs 50 lakh to help build a cancer ward in a suburban hospital.

A source from the medical facility says, `PC was close to her father and was heartbroken when he passed away. She was keen to do something for those suffering from cancer and recently came to know about the hospital's initiative.`


PC has not only extended financial help to the hospital but will also be present at the ward's inauguration today.
