"My brother is innocent." This is what Zayed Khan had to say in defence of his brother Fardeen Khan, whose
name has surfaced in the Provogue drug case.
"My brother has already got into trouble once in
cocaine case. I really don't know why people are taking his name. Just because he is the brand ambassador
of Provogue, they are dragging his name into it. He has got nothing to do with the case at all."
Fardeen Khan was hounded by the media as soon as he landed at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport on Monday.
The actor pleaded innocent and clarified that there were no summons for him. Fardeen insisted that the media
look at the court papers before hurling accusations at him of being part of the Provogue drug case.
Khan went straight from the airport to Squeeze night where Zayed Khan was celebrating his birthday.
The media earlier reported that Vishal Meghnani, the prime accused in the cocaine case, had apparently
named Fardeen and director Ken Ghosh. The police has now clarified that any film personality who is into
consumption will be questioned in the case.
