Producer-director Nabh Kumar Raju seems to have developed a penchant for launching models in his films.
Raju created quite a stir when he launched model Jessie Randhawa in his film "Chot".
Though the film did not do too well, Raju is not deterred. In his forthcoming film "24 x 7, Bombay Saloon
Unisex" Raju is set to launch model Bhairavi Goswami.
Besides being a model, said Raju, Bhairavi had also trained in a London acting school. The rather unusually
titled film has Bhairavi playing the role of a Page 3 celebrity model who frequents a saloon regularly and is
deeply influenced by the conversation there.
"It is a very interesting role and she is the ideal person to essay it," Raju says. Paired with Bhairavi is Sameer
Kocchar of "Zeher" fame.
Raju says the furniture costs of the film ran into millions. Raju has managed to rope in Sameer Kocchar as
the in-house music director for the film. This is Sameer's first attempt at composing, writing and also rendering
the songs in the film himself.
