Veteran actor Kabir Bedi is at the receiving end, while his daughter Pooja Bedi is supporting her mother Protima Bedi in a family discord.

The spat between daughter and father has polarised their friends and well wishers. The majority thinks that the 67-year-old actor-producer and his partner Parveen Dusanj have been wronged.

`Pooja is known to be temperamental... we have seen on TV and did she not create a scene outside Farhan Furniturewala's home when they were separating?` remarks an acquaintance close to the Bedis. As reported earlier, Pooja, who has so far been her daddy's girl, had issues with Parveen that were mostly swept under the carpet until now. But rather than settle their differences amicably, the trio apparently had a showdown and Pooja asked her father and Parveen to vacate her mother's house.


Incidentally, their mud-slinging happened in the presence of the Bedis' close friend and confidante Raageshwari Loomba, who has very wisely distanced himself from the incident, even though reports suggest she may have unwittingly played a part in the whole drama.

Kabir and Parveen are not keen to talk about the episode, and that they had moved out of Protima's home in Juhu would not have been known had it not been for Pooja herself. Apparently she confided in some of her old friends who are evidently not good at keeping secrets.
